100 Medals

TIGT-2022

A Talent Identification Golf Tournament was organised at prestigious Rambagh Golf Club by 100 Medals Targeted Foundation on 26 Sept 22.
It was for children below 17 yrs and Caddies between 16 to 25 yrs.

The chief Guest was Maj Gen Rajendra Rai GOC 61 Sub Area.
The Distinguished Guests on the occasion were
Lt Gen Vishwambhar Singh, AVSM, VSM (Retd)
Dr Ashok Gupta Captain, RG
Mr Vishnu Mohan Jha, Chief Airport Officer, Jaipur.
The sponsors were CK Birla Hospital and Hindustan Salt.

Highlights are as under:-

(a) It was a social initiative to encourage children and Caddies to pursue golf.
(b) The was entry free for all participants.
(c) There were 61 participants in all from nine different places.
(d) 46 Caddies and 15 children.
(e) The winner in Caddies category was Mukeem Ali and the winner in children category was Shiksha Jain.
(f) Lt Gen Vishwambhar Singh, AVSM, VSM (Retd) was awarded Veteran Sports Star for his contribution to sports in '82, '86 Asiads and World Rowing Championship in '83.
(g) The two selected Caddies will be mentored further.
(h) It is proposed to be an annual event at Jaipur.
(i) There was Young Star Prize for four youngest players.
(j) The TIGT is being planned at 4 more location shortly.
